eletric clutch on pro caster problem!!

    Looking for any info on clutch problem... Started sander today and spinner is going with the switch in off position.. With motor not running u can hear the clutch open and close when u hit switch. Just wonder if any one has had this problem and what to do???? Thanks..

    Is it rusted together? did you try a little PB blaster? Don't use anything with lubricating properties (Fluid Film, etc.)

    Sorry we were so long with the free advice. Maybe another site would suit you better.

    Sounds like you need to re-burnish the clutch or replace it all together.

    Sprayed the heck out of it with blaster.... didnt do a thing... I think i'm going to pull it off tonight... re-burnish ??? whats that? Buff magnet side with emery cloth? thanks
