Electric motor won't stop running

    One of my MM 2, Ez -V, with 3 wires, the motor won't stop running, had to unplug from truck to get it to stop. What should I check before taking to the dealer ?

    Replace the motor relay, it's stuck on.

    More than likely, the motor relay is stuck. Pretty simple fix.

    Is that the solenoid under the hood of the truck ?

    Yes. The positive side of the truckside battery cable is attached to it.

    Also make sure you have a good clean ground and a good connection at the plug. Easy check for this is a pair of jumper cables with the battery ground attached to the motor ground.

    Relay it was under $ 16, fixed it in less than 1/2 hr(mist of the time spent looking for the tools, my shop really needs a good organizing).
