I just got a new Eaton limited slip unit for use in my 3/4 ton Suburban.

I'm in Virginia so we don't get huge snow, I want more contol during icing.

My question is: Should I use the standard (400 lb) spring kit or buy the optional 800 lb spring kit for inside the unit.

Eaton claims the unit tightens up with more INPUT torque, so would it be better to have less preload so I don't slide in hill situations?

    Thanks, Ken
