I had an e47 and upgraded to the e60, they interchange with no problems, I didnt realize how slow the e47 was until I put it back on!

E-47 is an excellant inexpensive backup but as bash said you do get spoiled with the E-60. I run all 5 trucks with E-60's as the primary and have 2 E-47's as backups. I would suggest to make sure you have the power and ground leeds on the 47 to plug directly into the truck.
