Hey all! Got a Brain Teaser.

Plow goes up when i hit right on my pad......but only after i hit up.....which kicks the plow right...

Same thing Happens if angling lines are attached or not.

Replaced B coil and b valve to no avail.....B valve looked wierd though....like the top was welded together.....new valve almost seems to tall and keep s the coil cover up off the valve block......Damn P.O.

Any ideas? .....I'll try to post pic of valve

Is the ball and spring still under the B valve? What color wire do you have going to B? It is ok if the coil is up a little. The weld is normal.

Ball was stuck to old valve when pulled out.....i cleaned it off and it seems perfect so i dropped it back down and popped in the new B valve........

Red wire coming from the b coil...

Nothing wrong with the valve, those are the valves designed by meyer before the new company came in and took over manufacturing of them.

Do you have the red wire in the b valve hooked to the red wire in the harness, and the green c valve hooked to the green wire?

I used the Meyer Troubleshooting guide again....but addressed it from the right pivot not working and it led me to the c valve not working......that make sense to anyone?

You have wires crossed, or put the valves on the Wrong spot. The green valve should be closest to the quick connects on the valve block, red valve farthest from them. Make sure you have them on correctly.

Wires are right.....green wire coil is closest to the quick connects (front) and red is in back.... and worked fine before i put on a new motor and changed the fluid.......

Coils are on the wrong valves or the wires are plugged in red to green and green to red. That is the only thing it could be.

Guess i shouldn't throw too many snow balls. One battery, one b coil, b valve, c coil, c valve.....and i am no closer to figuring out why my pump goes right when i hit up.......and the right button only goes up if I hit the up button first. Lights are brighter...controls are a little crisper...problem maintains...

if i go to float, then try to hit right, it tries to lift and takes the slack out of the chain but won't pull it up.......hitting right on the pad to lift only works if i tried up first.....up of course kicks it right.....been like this 2 storms.....12" coming tomorrow night....

could a beat up coupler do this? i have new ones to put on, but was waiting to do the whole hose job once it was above freezing...ugh

Try disconnecting the red, green and black wires from the valves. Run a jumper to the red wire from the battery. Press up.. Do the same thing with the green wire. Does it go up when you jump to the red? Go right when you jump to the green?
