    OEM or Aftermarket? which is better/faster?

    Genuine OEM will last longer and perform better. I change more 1 and 2 year old aftermarket motors than I care to discuss.

    The age old addage still stands, you get what you pay for. :)

    Meyers has a vested intrest in keep the quality of the OEM part high. But then they keep the price up alsopayup. The catalog houses want you to buy the aftermarket because the mark up is higher cause they buy them so cheap.

    Same with the rest of it, coils, valves, etc.. We install OEM because I don't like customers complaining about premature failure. I offer the DIY guy the chioce.

    Same here for the most part as I learned that one long ago.

    Do use my own seal kits, but hard parts are all OEM. :nod:
