i think they had problems with water getting into the e-60 motors

by standing the motor up water drains out

Would it be a good idea to drill some miniscule holes on the bottom of the 60 "s motor casing? Provided I removed it first.

I called CPW today, and they said they do not list a conversion kit for the e-47. They also said they discontinued the 47, but still severiced them. Does anyone know where to find out more info on them?

I updated my E-47 to an E-57 by purchasing a Meyer 15869 kit for $316.00. The kit came with everything needed for the conversion. This E-57 is just as fast as my buddies E-60.

I got to take a look at the E57 pump and it looked like a nice set-up. the E47 is a very good pump though i would like to try the E57.:)

Does it have the guillotine drop set screw? Where you can adjust it's dropping speed? Im getting pretty tired of being "Meyered" with their junk pumps. I have like 4 , and I'v rebuilt each one at least 2 X . Although, I cannot see a manifold as intricate as a blizzard holding up to my demands. Who knows , they may have not made my kinda plow yet. I cant see WHACKING the blizzwing on an unforeseen object (thats why there are trip springs) such as a parking bumper or a RAILROAD TIE and not having to go looking for it with a metal detector.

I'd wait on more year until Meyer gets the bugs out.
It's funny how all the Meyer guys are from Philly yet the City of Philly runs mostly Boss. !!!
