    Hey All,
I'm new to the site been reading the forums and hope that someone can help me. I have a E-57H pump that leaks fluid out of a small hole in the back of the pump housing.I took it to a local shop and was told that the housing was bad and repairs would be to the tune of $600.00. There is hole on the side of the pump housing at the same height that is blocked by a metal pin of sorts. Did the hole in the back have the same sort of pin that fell out? I hate to go blindly into the shop for Big Bucks if I dont have to. Any help/input would be appreciated.

that usually indicates the pump seal is out. $600 sounds a little steep.
