When draining the fluid from the pump, do you just remove the 2 plugs in the front(mine is the older style doesn't have 3), take out the filters and let it drain? OR do i also or instead remove the plug/fitting in the bottom (removed with an allen wrench).

After removing the oil from the angling cyl. i believe i filled them or at least part way, Do i need to be concerned with air in the system/lines. Will this work its way out as i oprerate it and fill?

I always take those 2 plugs and filters out, then work the lift ram up and down by hand a few times......Seems to get most of it out.....

Never had a problem with air after working a few times.
