This will be my first year plowing with a diesel. Last year my gasser ran pretty warm. Had to be careful driving across town. Do you guys put covers over your grills?

You won't need it with your plow on. I have actually found that I have a tough time keeping my truck cool in the over 1 hour drive to when I plow. Highway speeds the plow doesn't allow the low sitting d-max to get air. I have to carry the blade inches from the ground to keep air going through. When you first startup, keep the plow high and wa la go got the exact same thing as the winter cover.
