Cat320, I do have a new Duramax but it does not have a dump bed. I think it does have more power than any other trucks I have had. I have only had it for a month now and it has 3800 miles so I will know more later. Just this last friday I went to pickup 6 pallets of fescue sod from, the sod farm which is 2hrs. away from me and it pulling the trailer pretty good had, several landscape companies over there were just looking at me as I was coming home. I Did weight the truck and trailer on a truck scale and it weight 26,040lbs. the truck weights about 7,000lbs which leaves 19,000lbs for the trailer and the turnpike speed limit was 75mph and it would do it and some if I didn't watch it.

My municipal DPW just set up a Duramax 4-door sleep cab for their boys (with a dump box). Seems the idling power strokes were keeping the boys awake.
