Dual Battery setup good?

    It would work it would just take some extra cabling and you would have to use heavy wire (at least 2 ga) to minimize voltage drop on all of the runs for better cranking power.

    Most people just parrallel them together with at least 4 ga cable and run a ground to engine block seperately for second battery too.

    that's all I did with my 04. Got a battery tray, ran the hot to the other battery and grounded it to the firewall. Stock battery cables would run over $200 :eek: .

    You do not want to ground it to firewall, you should ground it to engine block
