I asked this a while ago, but got not real answer...

My quill for my drop speed is rusted in place, and I have not been able to free it... I have soaked it with PB blaster, KOIL and still no luck... I want to teak it a bit, am at a loss on how to free it with out damaging it.

soak it again and strike it squarely with a hammer. not to hard, but tap it a few times.

if you can find it ,a product that works pretty good at breaking corrosion between aluminum and steel is silo brand screw loose .
