Drain plug install in old E47

    I am rebuilding my E47... (old version)

    after looking at newer and old versions.... I decided it might be possible to drill and tap a drain plug hole... like the later versions...


    here it is...

    looks like enough meat do get by.... and will install an o-ring like stock...

    I did have to file the surface flat so the plug/o-ring would seat flush...

    wish me luck...

    Oh, and thanks to Chuck Smith for the advice... I rang his bell the other day... and I'll be damned if he picked up the phone... Thumbs Up
