Down Pressure?

I thought that I had read in a couple spots somewhere that Boss has a down pressure option, was this true or was I misunderstanding it. If it is an option, how do I get it and is it a factory option? If it's true, but not a factory option, who has it?
    Thanks!

    That was funny!

I read the thread, man that was funny! The mentioning of DP with boss that I was referring to was in a couple spots where they were for sale. The seller must not know what they are talking about. The plain boss setup like mine obviously doesn't have DP, I know that, but I was simply wondering if it was a seperate option or an aftermarket option. Glad to open up an old wound and pour lemon juice in it! LOL!;)

last time I checked, Boss does not have a downpressure option. My 8 ft. Boss straight blade doesn't have it nor do I need it as it's a pretty heavy plow.

It's too bad they don't have any down pressure, if they did mabey they would trip when you hit somthing. :D

I say we nominate B N C to write Boss and work up an optional sand bag package.:D

Sounds like we could sell quite a few on here alone.

    Bossman:

Yeah, it would be nice if they tripped when I hit things. It was my first time plowing this parking lot at a federal govt complex and I hit a hidden granite curb at about 20 mph! If I hadn't had my seat belt on, I would have gone through the windshield. The plow didn't trip.
