    Ok, need some info everybody.

can you get some kind of lock cylinder for western plows to lock the blade down so it like a sno-way with down pressure.

    Thanks Mark

Western uses chains to lift their plows so there no is no way to push DOWN with a chain, only lift or drop.

You'd probably have to do an extensive retrofit to accomplish what you want to do.

    You've got my attention...

Mine's an ultramount pro plow with joystick control.

Have any links or pictures of what needs to be done?
Sounds like it could be a good project for next year.

    the kit consist of:
    1 hyd ram
    2 ram bracket holder
    2 hitch pins
    3 hoses
    1 hydraulic manifold assembly
    1 wiring kit
    1 lift frame cross bar

they are out of the manifold assembly. They will call back when available.

So, what do I do with all these parts? What about a wiring diagram and a way to control the down pressure? How about a ram size, hose size, etc. or part numbers?

when i get back in town, i will supply you with a kit part# that has all the items inside the kit. What controls down pressure? if you have seen the western suburbanite, they call it cylinder lock. It pressurizes the ram and a valve holds the fluid in cylinder until you release it,hence down pressure.

bored and waiting for snow! PT:)
