I snapted off the top where the center hing pin goes and the center one too I welded it back on so I could finsh up

Well the center section finaly had enought and it was starting to spread at the roll pin too.

    Pics are worth thousend words.

Holy!! Stuff happens, did you break the ears off of the wings, that the centre pin goes through. That's what I did in a similiar episode. I thought I ran the blade over. LOL

I had the wings back and hit the curb dead center.
    It stopped me dead too.:dizzy:
    (seat belts:nod:)
It the plow stayed on so I could get it to the shop with out picking it up off the lot..:waving:

The new formed edges show no damage at all..
If I was still running the old ones I'm sure they would have snapped.

The other damage, snapped a spring, and a mount bolt also.
I replaced the mount bolts too.

I had an original Boss V Blade on a 1 ton Chevy back in 1986 and I ripped all the eyelets off of the left wing when I hit a steel drain in a curb one. I had a welding shop buddy weld it all back together and worked fine every since. It sure did look funny hanging on the front of the truck broke in half though.
