I saw one at a local Hard Hat Show today and I was very impressed I was wondering if anybody has one and how do they work? I didn't think that they were all that unreasonably priced either.

Any idea what one of those costs?

Just for a regular cab with like a 10' or 12' dump on it?

I'm not quite sure of the total history of recently, but Freightliner bought out Fords heavy truck line and changed the name to Sterling. That was probably 8 or 9 years ago now. Now if I remember right Chrysler owns Freightliner, which is were the overgrown rams come into the picture.

1999 is when ford sold their heavy duty line to frieghtliner which actually was a division of dalmer\benz and I think they bought chrysler after that.

But now Daimler sold Chrysler so I wonder how long the Dodge/Sterling thing will last?
Now Freightliner is called Daimler Truck. The other news is International bought GM's med duty division. So it might be interesting what happens in this segment of trucks. A powerstroke (Internat.) in a GMC?
