    looking for a 98-01(02 3/4) dodge ram 1500 or 2500 i know people say the tranny's weak in them but how do they hold up non commercial plowing

    They are no weaker than anyother brand.
    Just take care of it.
    Change the filters and fluid regularly.

    When your shifting from forward to reverse, make sure you come to a complete stop, then don't mover until the next shift engages, you will be fine.

    I did, I ditched my climbing partner and found some needed solitude on the frozen to death / garnet peak.
