Do i need timbrens on 2500HD w/ 8.5V

    Going to mount a Fisher 8.5V on my 05 2500HD. DO i need timbrens? My buddy says no. i prefer your opinions.. thanks. It has the plow prep package by the way.

    I believe you have an Ext cab gas truck correct??

    If so I would personally add them the EZ-V is somewhere around 950 lbs... on a GM truck it most likely will sag a bit... Add timbrens and a couple of turn on the t-bars and you should be good to go. That and remember to add some ballast.

    Yes, its a 6.0 gasser. Ext Cab.

    Add The Timbrens

    Add timbrens and raise the t-bars 5 turns, otherwise that front end is going to look like its in a lot of pain with that v plow on it.

    Take a look at the Fisher site, they should have the ballast info there.
