I have manual disk brakes on my 81 c1500. How hard would it be to add the vacuum booster. Thanks

Not hard at all. Since there is a core on the booster a salvage yard would be the best bet for parts. Proportioning valve is most likely different so grab that too. I converted a mid 70's truck from manual disc to power disc. Didn't change the proportioning valve. All you had to do was breath on the brake pedal and you would go through the front windshield.
