A film crew from the popular Discovery Channel program, How It's Made visited the Fisher Engineering plant in Rockland, Maine on Wednesday. They were there to film for an upcoming episode that will feature the XtremeV plow.

Attached (if I can figure this out correctly), are a few candids from their visit.

The Wide-Out is one of the best performing plows in the Western line-up. I would recommend you call your insurance carrier as you have clearly had an accident with your truck and plow in order to do this type of damage.

Thats funny !!!!!!!!!! Almost as funny as when they (Western/DD) told me my 6000.00 plow that was 4 months old wouldn"t be covered.....Anyways enough about the plow, I watch the show all the time. Please update us soon with the date.

"CLEARLY" you must have hit something. Its obvious your plow came in contact with something hard! I hope it wasnt pavement or a curb. That would cancel out any kind of warranty. :waving:

Right? Thats why I just drive around with my plow up. That way, the warranty will be honored!

    Well lets see here

Bought the wideout dec 08, talked with Western mar/april 09....told it wasn't covered. All the gusset's kinked. When I asked why, I was told it took a lateral hit and that weaken it and then pushin over curbs. Had another plow maker repair for free in oct 09.

May 011, I buy a new Super Duty, Western tells me my mount off my 08 diesel won"t fit with the 011 diesel motor.....Guess what.... it bolted right up

Olddog, it looks like it can handle some plowing now. Glad it was put back together, better than it was made!
