dirrect drive or gear/chain reduction - hydro spreader

    i have only used dirrect drive hydro spreaders , but am in the market for an undertailgate....

    can anyone tell me that owns and uses both types, which they like better?

    subscribed, what to know if the gear reduction is worth the extra couple hundred bucks.

    that and if the extra parts involed is a wear link, or a problematic wear point.

    Gear box drive gives you better control at low speed rates for more efficient spreading.

    Direct drive provides higher performance and lower maintenance costs.

    Just my .02¢
