I own a 1988 Chevy K1500, and a Fisher Speedcast model G with a mount fitting an older Ford that i do not own.....I'm looking for the mount to correctly attach the Fisher Blade to my Chevy. I have the opportunity to buy a full Fisher Plow system fitting '73-'87 Chevy, but i cannot find the correct mount for my truck. I am wondering if any alterations must be made to the truck frame or the plow mount, if i were to purchase the mount fitting '73-'87. keep in mind this is one year older than my 1988. Anyone have any experience with this?

won't say it can't be done but the 87 and the 88 have differant frames under them, 88 was the first year for that body style
