    What is this "bio diesel" I keep hearing about?

    If you like your warranty, don't use it! I keep hearing about Ford voiding warrantees of people who used bio because it kills injectors.:(

    also needs to be kept agitated if not used quickly and can grow algae in it and is more expensive. I dont see the point other than to help the farmers but at the price arent helping them much either

    Most guys that speak of bio-diesel are talking about home made stuff from used cooking oil (of which most places will give it away)


    Reasons for use...
    #1 Because of price
    #2 Tax Break
    #3 it burns the same as your $3.50 a gal stuff

    As far as brand new trucks yeah it will more then likely void a warranty. But for used work trucks it could be very cost effective.
