there is one storm coming up the east coast, but its only supposed to snow in the carolinas and virginia, and go out to see by long island. now they are talking a storm for sunday or monday for the northeast, and there were better chances for it to give us our first good storm. who knows. i dont think they really know for sure until 24 hours in advance if that.
I hope like heck that we get something wed nite into thurs. even if its a dusting or 3 inches. just something to ease my cravings. I know I'm driving my wife crazy!!!
cant forget us....we've barely seen flurries. I think the wed/thurs storm my give us a little, but the weekend storm looks alittle more promising.....ones things for sure im not mounting the fisher till theres snow falling, or these storms will miss us completely.
I would be nice but it seesm like every time they predict snow this far in advance we get NOTHING. If they are acually right (which they won't be) we probly won't get anything with the Thursday storm but it looks like we got a chance this weekend. Keep your figers crossed maybe we''l get lucky.
It is getting to the point that I am more concerned now for snow cover to protect the plants than to plow otherwise it will be a late late spring season...
looks like nothing around here till (maybe) the weekend. It's snowing down south, and Phila has only seen a few (and far between) flakes so far. Patience wearing thin here!!
FWIW, I checked yesterday on a lot I do, and there are still snow piles left over from Dec 9 event. So if anyone would like some nostalgia, or just see for yourself that yes it did snow this season in central CT come on by for the tour!
I think we might get something sunday/monday looking at that storm that's in florida and some other states now. i started my snowblower up monday, and realized my little single stage didn't start, and my 2 stage worked, but the augers and impeller didn't engage. they're now at the gas station waiting for me to work on them when i have a chance.
The storm might track along the coast, hopefully it does as i'd like to plow soon. if my snowblowers not working will bring snow, i don't mind using a shovel for sidewalks/walk ways, as long as it's not 7ft.
Well. lets just wait and see what happens....holding my breath here in Atco, 20 minutes from Philly, 35 minutes from Del.Mem.Bridge.
30 Minutes from Atlantic City...Days away from SNOW!!!!!!!!!

Well the latest message from the weather gusser's is now the storm is going to track to the west wich means the cities get RAIN!!!!!
At first we had warm weather and no precip, NOW we get three weeks of cold weather but no snow. When we FINALLY GET A STORM the cold air decides to LEAVE!!! Sorry, had to vent .
dont get too down yet. i saw three forecasts, and some say if it shifts a little south we get over a foot of snow, and if its a little higher a mixed bag turning to rain. lets just hope its all snow.
