many have asked for update on the new Horst Plow I installed on my 5525 Tractor.

Check out pictures in thread: http://www.plowsite.com/showthread.php?t=70941

Got our first storm of the year Friday and put the unit to work...small storm only about 8-`0" but decent enough to judge performance.

Well needless to say I am very happy.

wow does it work well. great control and stacks snow very high...about 6' easily.

no way to compare it to a truck mounted plow....its in a totally different league...both in control stoutness etc.

Big difference...down pressure...you can exert downward force...not just plow wieght...you can really use cutting edge to peel up ice and packed snow.

Very cool and really great visiblity too!
