i'll make it quick and simple, both prices are very similar from the dealership at around $16/17k. debating whether to buy:

2007.5 GMC Sierra 2500 SLE with 101k miles EXT CAB

2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 LS with 75k miles EXT CAB

it'll be my DD and light plowing

I would guess the SLE vs LS features.
And depending on what ones they are, you can plug and play the majority of the doodads that come with a LT onto an LS, SLE to SL etc depending on what you want.

Depends on options. You are basically trading 25,000 miles for extra options. Also, the 2008 still has some factory powertrain warranty left. Up to 100k miles? I would take the 2008.

    I agree

    100,000 Drive Train Warranty

2008 Has Higher Book Value than 2007, when you go to sell

    FYI ?

LS is the same as SLS
LT is the same as SLT

but add on options make them vary ...

Actually...SLE is equal to LT, SLT is equal to LTZ. LS is a glorified W/T. Power windows and locks and the nicer radio. Thats for GMT900 at least
