Wonder how people buys OEM Edges or Make your own

I make my own I use 5/8 x8'' stock and at ends I double it on first 2 bolts for wear bars
Started doing this since 2002 when upgrade plows and the OEM edges was double in price from my older plows
I can build 2 for same price as a OEM edge
My Edges will last twice as long then a OEM edge
Even make them for my 2 Vplows

I have them made by a local shop, I run 810 power plows and their edges are crazy expensive. He makes them out of A.R. they last more than twice as long and cost less than half.

2 ways doing it cutting torch them out or get a drill bit close to the size of the square part and take a big hammer beat them in
I use a cutting Torch its faster and if a bolt spins grab the welder and spot weld the head

My steel hasnt made it in soon gets here I'll take pics

This one Im going be doing lasted me last winter and half winter before I still have 1.5'' wear left I thought replace it now
Yes OEM blade are high and you only buying 4'' of wear
Why I use 8'' stock My wear is 6.5''
They say it will not hold up never bent one might bend if you use 1/2'' stock but I use 5/8'' and double up on the end 2 bolts in for wear bars
