Cutting Edge

    What Cutting Edge Do you guys suggest.Steel,Poly,Rubber.I have a Western 9'.Thanks In Advance.

    What are you plowing that will be the ???

    My self I run Steel 5/8'' x 8'' on my western plows and even on my boss plow

    Right Now Just Residential But i will be taking on a few smaller commercial accounts that are friends of mine.

    If you are plowing stamp driveways or pavers then you better go with rubber or poly

    I don't know I make all my Cutting edges. I can build them for half of what one cost and last just as long as a factory edge
    I make them out of 5/8'' x 8'' plate steel and on the ends I double it up on the ends. Im over 1'' thick on the ends.

    One my 8.5 pro pls was put on 12-2011 and it still has 3.5'' of wear life
    My MPV was put on same time and I am replacing it only has 1'' wear left.
