steel centers are the bomb. I got a better scape then my buddies western v and boss v. I've even broke ice up with ease. Not a snoway part. so they won't warranty it. I bought them from the old dealer. (he passed away and sold business) I've had mine for five years and have no stress marks on plow or plow holes where its mounted.
i have four 8' 3" and three 9' 2". i think thats the size. I'm in my office and not near them so i can't measure them.

I am 1 1/2 hours from Dsm but have a son in Ames. I can come down about anytime and he works but can be there with some notice.

Sorry for the hijack, but I just had to mention that I've been to Ames. All together I've spent about two months there, working on the USDA project out there.

Looking at the pics, I gotta say that I am impressed...is the center a cast piece that is shaped like the rubber one from Sno-way or is it just a triangle cut piece of cutting edge???

and how much...for just the center...$200 for all three right??

it's sort of a triangle. Yes ..$200 for all three. the county uses them on all of there plows and swear by them.

Got my set of cutting edges for my V-Blade and the center peice is awesome. The pictures don't do it justice. Very anxious to try it and vw's prices are the best part.
