Cutting edge bolts

    Going to replace all cutting edge bolts with a kit from Boss. Do I need to torque them at all. I have had a few snap off in the past. wondering if using an impact was stretching the bolts and the cold snapped them.

    I have just zipped them down with the impact.

    On the list tomorrow ,putting on new cutting edge and bolts,Had to type this standing up,$432.00

    I've had problems in the past breaking bolts....But I think it's because they hadn't stayed tight..... I ended up welding two tabs just above the cutting edge to keep the edge from shearing the bolt ...

    just learned myself that on the DXT , just ADD on to the existing trip ?:mechanic:
