I have the hand held controller. Plow got stuck up in the last storm. The harness is good. I have continuity all the way down. the down solenoid will click if you jump power to it. I just cant get it to send power using the controller. Has anyone had problems with there handheld. Mine is a year old and im gunna be pissed if this over priced controller is broken. Also, can the controller fry out if snow was packed around the jack switch and hold it in the up position? Thanks for the help

try moving around the big connector where the plow harness goes to the truck harness.

have some one in the cab holding the controller in the down position while on messes with the connection.

see if they will cover it if it ends up being the controller... seeing as though it is used 3 months out of the year... it wouldn't see THAT much use.

They said they would warranty it. Pretty happy about that. I didnt want to pay another $350+ for a controller.

Yea it was the controller. i switched the right angle harness with the down solenoid under the cover. hit right and it went down no problem. I just had to go buy a joystick for tomorows storm because no one has any hand helds in stock. But now i atleast have an extra if the hand held ever breaks again.

That's good. PS, if you have tinted windows, don't put them down with the joystick controller in place as it ripped my tint right off! :realmad:
