Recently, one of our plows wouldn't lift. We thought it was a blown main lift cylinder, but turned out it was a cracked frame which we welded, albeit not a permanent fix. We've since noticed that most of our 810's have some sort of cracking going on. I've searched a few years of blizzard posts already and seen some mentions of it, but didn't read much about what people were doing about it. I'm wondering if it can be effectively welded? Are people adding gussets? Is a total frame replacement warranted?

    Any info is appreciated

Matt, how about some picts and the location that you're seeing the issue with. Most areas can be cleaned, put back in location and welded on any plow depending on associated damage / bending / twisting. Jerre
