I am in the process of taking my RT3 SH2 straight blade apart and repainting it. I went to remove the coupler spring pins because I think one is bent causing the plow to hang up when I remove it, but could not figure out how to get them out. Not sure where I went wrong. Thanks for any advice.

    pins

i believe you have the latch in the off position ,UN hook the stainless return springs with a hook shaped pick from a o-ring pick set .remove the lock nut on the spring retainer pin and tap it out with a brass drift to save the thread's then you should be able to slide the main pin out .

I have already tried tapping the retainer pin out in both directions... Not to say that your advice is wrong though, maybe I need to soak it in PB Blaster and give it another try. Thanks.
