counterweight in zr2

    ive got an 03 zr2 with a 6'9 minute mount i was wondering how much weight should i put in the bed or is there a forumla to figure it out?

    Fishers web site has program to pick out a plow for your truck. t the end of the program it will tell you how much ballast is needed for your set up.

    its weird i tried that and it didnt list my plow it listed the homesteader which i know is lighter so im not sure how much to use

    Fisher say's the homesteader need's 450lbs of ballast on a regular S-10. Your ZR2 and your 6'9" are comparable in weight, so 450lbs should be fine.I wouldn't add anymore than that though.

    A few bags of sand or ice melt work's good.
