Conveyor Chain

    How tight should the chain be? Just enough so the slack is not dragging on the two pieces of channel underneath?

    well i would look in your manual for the proper adjustment procedure.

    my torwell manual says to take up slack until the chain does not ride on the base support channels, a 1" or less deflection is preferred.

    also make sure that you tighten the adjustments equally, so the front shaft is not cocked at an angle.
