I just picked up my first plow, it is a 1987-9? 8' western conventional cable operated. I tore it down to R&R and found out the trip shock is toast. Anybody know where I can pick one of these up?

    Thanx again, Colin.

Local Western dealer is a good place to start if you have one. If not, most of the online plow parts suppliers will carry them as well. Check out CPW (Central Parts Warehouse), Angelos, Equipment Specialists or Mill Supply. They'll all have what you need.

Good luck with your plow restoration. :)

I don't know about a plow restoration, just trying to get it back to square one and looking decent. It had umpteen layers of roll on enamel paint and lots of corrosion. I'm just trying to make it presentable, my brother calls it OCD.

    Thanx for the advice.
