Connector help

    How can i take apart a headlight connector to switch two wires around? i dont have the right tool for the job, so what could i use instead cuz i see you can remover the rubber grommet from the back side, but how do u push the connectors on the inside out? please help, im doing this because my harness comes ready for hb5 bulbs but i have HB1's so u need to swap the common and the low beam around.

    cut a short piece of mig wire and use it to push the tab down on the connector.

    Or a paper clip will also do the job

    well i went ahead and tried it out and it worked great, popped them right out and i was able to fix my problem, thankx guys
