What size containment plow would you run on a Volvo L20, it's about 54 hp?

website says it weighs about 5 tons. I don't know anything about the bigger snow stuff. But, from what I've read on this site, I'd say that machine could handle a 10' pusher tops.

We bought the same model last year and have a 10' pusher. Works great, handles 2 large retail stores freeing up 3 trucks for other accounts.

Its about 12000lbs. I would need to move it from site to site but they are within about 5 minutes of each other. I would drive it between sites with an escort vehicle.

Escort vehicle? Turn the flashers on and get going!!! No escort needed.

yeah, if you have flashers and only a 10foot push, you are laughing, we are running a cat 910, we could have put a 14 foot push on it, but in the end we figured it would be too much of a pain to move around, so we built a 10ft push on it (so it would be easy to move around on the streets) but made the wings really deep so on the long pushes it wouldn't overfill

I'd agree with 10' or 12' at the most.

There is a dealer for Protec that has a good selection in stock. I've got 2 8ft's and a 12ft. Was going to run the 8ft's on skids and the 12ft on a Cat 908 compact loader. I just leased a Volvo L20 and a L30 for the winter and need containment plows for them.

The 10ft IST steel edge for SS is about $6000 and the 12ft is about $6500.
