Like you, I am hoping that this one hits us.

Expires 7:00 PM MST on November 26, 2006

Statement as of 10:55 AM MST on November 26, 2006

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Monday morning through
    Tuesday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Monday morning through
    Tuesday afternoon.

Snow is expected to increase over Jackson Hole Monday morning.
Strong southwest winds will cause significant blowing and drifting
snow by Monday afternoon. Snowfall is expected to be heavy at
times Monday afternoon and evening. Strong winds will continue
Monday night and Tuesday morning with potential white out
conditions from Moose to Moran. Snowfall up to 12 inches is
expected. Snowfall around the town of Jackson should be
    less... around 8 inches.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

Im tired of waiting too. We have a special weather statement right now. I think thats there way of saying they dont know what its going to do.

...A WINTRY MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW LIKELY OVER MUCH OF THE
    AREA MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY...

A COMPLEX WEATHER SYSTEM WILL AFFECT THE AREA MONDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY. WHILE THERE IS A GOOD CERTAINTY THAT THE STORM WILL
IMPACT THE AREA THERE REMAINS STRONG UNCERTAINTY IN THE TYPE AND
    AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION.

LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP OVER EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA MONDAY NIGHT
AND THEN MOVE TO NEAR FERGUS FALLS TUESDAY AND THEN TO KENORA
ONTARIO TUESDAY NIGHT. WARM AND MOIST AIR WILL RIDE NORTH INTO
EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
MONDAY NIGHT CAUSING PRECIPITATION TO DEVELOP...ESPECIALLY AFTER
MIDNIGHT. TEMPERATURES AT THE SURFACE ARE EXPECTED TO BE BELOW
FREEZING AND PROFILES SUGGEST FREEZING RAIN IS A THREAT MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING FOR MUCH OF THE REGION. AREAS FROM
DEVILS LAKE TO HALLOCK WILL BE THE COLDEST AND THE PRECIPITATION
MAY REMAIN ALL SNOW WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATION LIKELY IN
THIS AREA THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. AREAS SOUTH OF A FARGO TO PARK
RAPIDS LINE MAY REMAIN JUST WARM ENOUGH FOR MOSTLY PLAIN RAIN.

PEOPLE ARE URGED TO STAY TUNED FOR FORECAST UPDATES.

    ECS,

I hope you get that storm....;)

As most of your storms end up in our neighborhood.
Of coarse you drain all of the moisture (snow) out of them first. lol

4by4farmer,.. hope your forecast is right... looks like it might get cold enough to snow...

Things are starting to look a little more promising, they upgraded it to a winter storm watch now, but im about 3 miles from the line where they cut it off at, so it looks like I will get something, but not the good stuff.

If anyone in the Northeast does not want snow, I will gladly go out and hook my plows up.

Murphy and I have a great understanding, I hook up plow, no snow.

greenscapes Go ahead and take the plows off and and perform a full service the on the plows and the trucks, then it will start snowing. Having all those trucks on the ready is what is keeping the snow away.

I personally don't want it to snow all winter. 80% are on contracts so no snow actually More $ and better on equipment.
