Original Western plow fluid, the blue stuff. It is actually aircraft grade hydraulic fluid, very stable viscosity at a wide range of temperatures. Trany fluid is designed to work in a unit that gets hot so the fluid warms up but your plow is electric over hydraulic so it never gets warm and the fluid stays thick. Western, Boss, both are good. There are also some synthetic hydraulic fluids that performe just as well for a bit less money but they are hard to find in small jugs. I like the original fluid because of the blue die. When you see blue snow there is no question where it comes from. With clear or red fluid you can't be sure it's not from your trans etc.
