Clunk noise when put into gear!!!

    I have 94 GMC K1500,
    It's doing a clunk noise when put into gear!!
    I have already replace the u-joints and the transfercase.:mad: and still same noise:cry:
    When I put on 4x4 it's like my front wheels are lock!!
    I'll appreciate any help!!!

    my guess would be the ring gear and pinion in the rear axel. mine do's it also(to lazy to rebuild it) what do you mean by "LOCK"?????

    It's like my 4x4 is not engaged properly!!!

    you have the np-203 and the d-44 front? with manual of auto locking hubs?

    the 94 is a front ifs right? or is it still the solid axel?

    My problem was on the front differential
    cost me $930.00 installed (D from a junkyard)

    ouch how much did it cost to listen to the clunk sound lol.
