    Hey does any one know if it is cheaper to fix a stepside fiberglass box rather than a normal box with metal. i backed into a snow bank an it shattered like glass. about the size of a basket ball

    Darn! I don't like when that happens to someone........

    To patch the fiberglass box yourself is probably cheaper than to repair a tin one, but to have the work done at a body shop might be about the same amount of $$$, depending on how complicated the area is to be repaired.

    I solved that problem long ago - rear panels on the deck I fabbed are 1/4" plate............................... I back into it, the snowbank shatters! :D
