Does anyone happen to know if a mount from an '80s era Chevy/GMC 4x4 fits on a one-ton 2wd of the same body type? Have one laying around but haven't got the time to fool around to see if it will fit...

    Anyone done this?

I know for a fact they're not the same derek but since the frame rails are the same at the front you can make it work but it wont just bolt on... the bottom mounts are shorter and farther forward due to the 2WD being lower to the ground. And, all the under braces are different between the two since it needs to clear the steering on the 2WD but with some fabrication it could be made to fit.
