Over the past few weeks I have been looking at trucks. I have seen 1500's with both RD and LD duty plow on them. Why does the Fisher EMatch call for the LD's on the 1500's, but I have seen RD's on 1500's as well. I am confused

The new body style 07's and 08's 1500's don't have the front end suspension to carry the RD. Fisher will only recommend the LD and the Homesteader on the NBS 1500's. The older 1500's had a better front end and could support the heavier plows. Chevy and Ford aren't building the 1500's or 150's like they used to. Get a 2500 for plowing. You'll be happier and you won't kill the front end of the 1500.
