Do you know how many miles per galon does a truck with that engine makes? I never owned a gas truck yet beside my little ranger, and I am wondering if I can make a good plow truck out of that one if I bid on it.

    With that 8-12 mpg

If I were you find F250 with 351W. they get 11-15.

You don't really want a plow on the Dana 50 IFS. Either swap it out for a Dana 60 or do what I did to my truck. In the long run, the Dana 60 costs about the same and tires will wear better.
