He is very big around here!! They get almost all of the mall/plaza contracts around plus he does some municipal work. They have everything to be self sustaining for a long time.

Love seeing thier stuff at work!!!

I think our local company is bigger than that, not sure though. It's hard to beat his prices too, quite the lowballer! gregslawn.com

Yeah I know Greg. I know him personally. Nice and driven guy, He is big, but hes not self contained. He has a but load of subs. And I wouldn't call him a low baller either. He knows what he's doing and its working.

I like and respect him, but he is my goal in snow removal. I am not happy just doing the accounts I am doing, I want more. I want constant seasonal growth. I want to be be totally independent, no subs. I want to be the most well know and most respected.

Next season I want to be the biggest in my town, then get into the next biggest towns market, (Cedar Rapids) then start going after the big boys.

Did he photoshop his name on to all of those trucks? I think so! I believe him though. Bigger is not always better though. Just more babysitting.

i don't know him personally but I do know that every account of his that I take over the customer has nothing but bad things to say about him/ his company. I personally don't get into bad mouthing others , they can do that for themselves. But all of that equipment in the pic is his, not photoshoped.

I took over a few this year and he got a couple of mine. Offered ful seasonal contracts with mowing. I don't mow. I can only offer snow. PM me and we will talk.

Yes that is his fleet. Its just amazing to see it all in one place. When I picked up my artics, they were getting ready to head out the next day. Trucks just kept coming out of the shop and lining up in the lot. It was crazy. I always new it was alot of stuff, but I didn't know how much.

Not pictured is ALL his loaders He has 2 in coralville at the mall plus the rental stuff he has.

His sub list is big too..

What drives you to want to become that big? Curious. Is it the money? Competitive nature?

    Are you married? Kids? Curious.
