Ok i do some heavy commercial plowing and i was told to replace the hydrolic fluid every season by the place i bought the plow. well the guy i got into business says that every other season is when he does it. so i just changed the fluid after the second season and it still looked brand new. Whats the real deal?

Think of your car, do you want the oil to have reached failure point before changing, or your underwear, (hopefully:D) you change it daily even though it doesn't smell.

Oil is cheap, new hydraulic power units are expensive.

    It can't hurt.
