I am looking in changing the differentials gears in my 74 power wagon that is a 3/4 ton with 4.10, new gears would be 3.55
will there be a different in the mph that I have right now with the 4.10 if I move it to 3.55? I am running on a 360 motor has been repaired. will it give me a good mpg too? has any one do this?
I dont really do alot plowing around as just for my self and part time.

truck is a full time driving around and to work and going camping.

You will get a different speedo reading. Go to www.4wheelparts.com They have a speedo calculator that will tell you how far off the calibration is. Shouldn't be too bad. Maybe 5mph at 55mph
